Today's Outfit: The Last Minute Romper

After searching all spring and summer long for a romper and coming across zilch, I had long given up hope, when wouldn't you know it, last weekend at a rummage sale I came across this little Hawaiian print number and one exactly like it in blue for a dollar each. I also got the multicolored patchwork leather purse for 50 cents!!!

Unfortunately, summer is all but over and there won't be much time left to wear them... sigh. Oh well, at least the sun is shining bright today and better late than never I say!

Belt, sunnies, and shoes previously thrifted from Salvation Army, making today's outfit 100% thrifted, woohoo!

I love that romper (we call them playsuits here though)! If you need anyone to take it off your hands, I could give it a very good home...

I have been searching for a romper all summer too. I loved the little girl's ones at Target, so when I realized that fit into Target girl's size XL I went back to look for some, but to no avail.
This one is awesome though, love that back.
I too have found such a sense of community online, especially with other mamas but lately with other thrifters too. It's so fun :-)

This is amazing! What a great find. It's always great to score a thrifty gem, but so much better when it's something you've been looking for.

Awesomeness ensues! And hotness! Wow! Can't wait to see the blue one on Skye, lucky antepodeans with their summer just around the corner. I know, I know, most of our fellow bloggers and remixers are yearning for the fall, but having almost no summer, I'd like to get some more of it...ah well.

what an amazing find! sometimes, i go to the thrift and see if i can *will* myself into finding that certain item i've been dreaming of - it's worked TWICE! once with a portable record player and once with a sofa!
congrats - they are precious!

oh and ps - if you want that bracelet we should set up a swap - i'm all about the swap! bracelet for thrift find? lemme know what you think!

I just saw the blue version of this on Skye! You two are such inspirational ladies. I can't believe you found not one, but two of these fantastic rompers. You truly are the Thrift Goddess who walks among us!
