Winter?

Winter?

Can you believe it was actually warm enough to wear this yesterday? Seventy six degrees... in January?!?! A little Spring teaser I guess. I thrifted this skirt for $2.50 at the Salvation Army the same day I got my lil' denim jacket. Yay for plaid with pockets! :)

The awesome butterfly belt was a gift awhile back from the amazing queen of all things thrift-y, Apron Thrift Girl, thanks Selena! She came across it while thrifting and thought I might like it, right she was!

I finally took a picture of what I ended up doing with the paper garland I purchased at the crafts fair from my friend Julianne. Originally, I was going to string it on the curly willow branches in the corner, but they were too wispy. So I ended up hanging it above our bed instead. I love the way it frames the window.

Um, you're kinda in the way kiddo.

I wore the little denim jacket when it cooled off in the evening, but for most of the day I didn't even need it.

Self-timer... who is she smiling at?

I tell ya, this kid just can't get enough of being in front of the camera, I wonder where she gets that? ;)

Your bedroom looks lovely, very serene. I want to know how you are able to keep all those lovely hanging things out of the grasp of those adorable little Clover paws!

The bedroom looks marvelous! Oooh, it makes me want to nap beneath the curly willow ...

Totally digging that belt/skirt combo, too, lady.

Thanks ladies :)

Skye: We have a small crib that is normally positioned along the wall with the chair to sort of deter her from that corner. I rolled it out of the way to take the pictures.

Mostly though I'm lucky, she's just not as into everything as many toddlers are, at least not yet, she's just now learning to climb things though, so we'll see...

Nice touch to the room for sure, that garland was a great purchase!! The plaid skirt looks so good on your frame, and the pockets are icing on the cake!!

Thanks so much for your lovely comments. You being a thrifting genius and all, I'm very, very, very excited for this swap. I'll package most of yours up tonight! Yay!

Your bedroom is so lovely--I love the neutrals of the bedding & that you have enough room for a chair.

Love the skirt, too. I've been on the hunt for a classic wool plaid skirt for far too long now!
