What can I say… it was a special day and I’m feelin’ the red, white, and blue ;) Not to mention, Caroline has put these basic pieces together in such a stylin’ way. The tiny floral pattern with the horizontal stripes, the blue on blue belting of the skirt, and don’t even get me started on those shoes… perfection.originally uploaded by http://www.flickr.com/people/26087868@N08/.

Whaaa? What a pleasant surprise! Thanks for the huge compliment, Missa!
Very cute!
Red white and blue is a great colour palette to work with - our national colours are green and gold (as in bright orangey yellow, not metallic) and an outfit in those is pretty dreadful.
Oh Caroline! Caroline! She's so cool (and eternally tan) and you know how I love red white and blue!
This is a FAB outfit! Love the pattern mixing.
Wasn't Inauguration dreamy and wonderful? I've been re-watching it on the Senate website!
I too wore red, white & blue that day. Though I really didn't have any red tops for winter so I just used a red patent belt, which worked well.
I feel so happy now!
