Minya

The incredibly crafty Diane of Little Birdie's Nest has just opened her new Etsy shop, The Little Birdie, and is currently selling these ADORABLE matryoshka softies. She makes them from lovely thrifted fabrics and hand embroiders their sweet lil' faces!

This one's name is Minya and I just purchased her for Clover, whose first birthday is coming up in a few weeks. I love that she was made from a thrifted pillowcase and is embellished with vintage lace! The fact that the lace matches the flowers on her "outfit," well, that just makes her beyond perfect in my book ;) I'm so excited to see her in person!

Diane is an appreciated reader and every time I visit her blog, I always leave wishing I was a crafty mom like her! Thanks Diane, I'm sure Clover will adore Minya and I'll make sure she takes good care of her :)

So pretty, I am always in awe of the amazing things that Etsy sellers make! I bet Clover loves it!

PS. I have sent off a parcel to you this afternoon. The post office assures me it will arrive in 7-10 days. I had to unwrap all my nice wrapping and just sort of stuff everything in the satchel though, so make sure you look for the postcard inside the book.

Thank you so much for purchasing Minya! I'm happy for Clover. Can you believe she'll be a year old?? I know how fast it all goes. Thanks, too, for the blog post. You are far too kind.

Aw, Clover's turning one! That's so cool. And this doll is adorable. I love handmade toys, there's something extra-special about them, somehow. A lot of love went into making this, you can tell.
