Saturday Snapshots

Taken during a lovely gathering of family, friends, and neighbors at my sister-in-law Kelcey’s house. With my focus on Spring cleaning and sprucing up my own home décor this week, I was drawn to photographing pretty bits of their beautiful home.

That is, when I didn’t have my camera pointed at their youngest daughter... my neice Fiona is absolutely darling and has the most incredible hair! Clover had so much fun playing with Fiona and the rest of her cousins as the grown-ups enjoyed a sunny afternoon in the garden visiting, sipping beers and margaritas, and munching on yummy snacks and epic enchiladas.

The family dogs being cute and my mother-in-law’s new boots also being cute… I was coveting them big time.

Warm light and festive pops of color.

Grandma admiring the teensy friendship bracelet made for Clover by one of the older kids, more lovely home bits, and unfortunately, the closest I got to an outfit shot. I did however document Sunday's outfit though, outfit post soon to come!

P.S. Thanks so much for all the great tips and advice regarding the fate of my poor clogs! I picked up some E6000 at the craft store as it was the only adhesive mentioned that specifically said it bonded to both rubber and wood, but I still may see how much a cobbler would charge first, I'm just so lazy when it comes to that sort of thing, I'll let you know how it turns out though.

I love the snaps, and am jealous of that collection of old Oz books. I was obsessed with those when I was younger--great illustrations.

what a lovely family hang out. it's so nice for clover to be able to grow up close to cousins and grandmas and all that good stuff! the picture of grandma checking out her friendship bracelet is priceless. and fiona is a little angel sprite! the girls are so cute together and i like that type of dog with the grizzled face, it reminds me of a wise little old man. and her house! it's gorgeous. i love the old bottles and the way she placed blooming flowers (peonies?) in the arched candle holder. she has a great eye for decorating! thanks for the inspiration.
