May Day at The Farm

I finally went through the bazillion photos I took during the May Day festivities at Clover’s preschool and picked out some to share. I know I’m a little late to the party on this, but I just couldn’t resist…

Constuction paper may baskets.

My nephew Quinlan is obsessed with bows and arrows. Like really obsessed. We did a few takes on that last shot to capture his lil’ suction cup arrow in mid-flight.

Attaching streamers to the maypole.

Distributing may baskets to the neighbors, elderly and delighted by the bright little faces bearing flowers.

Dancing around the may pole, on the very spot that served as the dance floor at our wedding! :D

May Day at The Farm

Did you spot Clover’s little face through the flowers in the playhouse window?

At play in the playroom.

Oh my gosh you guys, the little girls running around barefoot in their floral dresses… almost too cute to bear.

These shots give me the most inspiring Spring feeling! I wish it weren't so grey here right now, I'd be off prancing in a floral dress too ;)

This is just too much cuteness to bear! So adorable!
I really wish our weather here would look anything like yours. I had to put on my wollen winter tights yesterday and today *sigh*

So sweet and springy! Oh my gosh the books! (BTW Missa, I just read about this study that showed that the more books children have in the house growing up the smarter they are. It's not just having books- it's having lots of books. So keep thrifting 'em and don't let the book clutter bother you! You can find the article on the Utne website).

I love everyone's colorful clothing. Beltane is my favorite day ever.

Okay, that preschool is amazing! And what a neat aspect of it that you & Lucas were married there! Hello dream wedding. You look gorgeous in those photos :-)

This looks like so much fun, and I'm still immensely jealous of your proximity to a preschool on a farm.
