Enjoying...

Keepin' it cozy.

… the cozy feeling I get wearing these moccasins I picked up at Red Light Vintage for 9 bucks when we were in Portland. The sheepskin lining makes wearing them feel like walking around in slippers all day, which is something I can absolutely get behind, especially on these chilly Fall mornings.

...flipping through the Toast winter 2009 catalog for cool weather sartorial inspirations (thanks to Diana for reminding me to get my free copy!). Also, the short film they made during the catalog shoot is the best kind of dreamy.

Watching this delightful film. Maggie Gyllenhaal’s character is beyond hilarious.

Aaaand, last but certainly not least…

Watching this little person learn how to weigh her options,

… make decisions,

… follow through on those decisions,

… and take pride in her actions.

Actually, I just enjoy watching her get annoyed with me as I take too many pictures of her ;)

Your daughter is so amazingly cute!! That shot of her looking at the camera (you!) is a classic! And I love the way you've styled yourself here: the hair, the booties are very much of a piece.

i could kill for your hair - its perfect tousled look makes me so envious! also love your lil one weighing her options, shes so beautiful! and your new moccasins are adorable and look soo comfy. we went to see away we go at the theater recently, the music is so good isn't it? and i love that they featured Madison as one of their potential homes, hopefully after we move there i won't turn into a crazy stroller hating Maggie Gyllenhaal - haha!

I've been thinking about getting some moccasins of that style too, the tall knee length ones are such a pain to get on and off. I love walking in them though, they feel like walking on clouds. Do yours have the leather bottom too? I'm glad I got the natural bottom.

Red light was one of my favorite stores when I lived in Seattle, I found some real gems there.

Those last brown boots are so much like the ones I just got on ebay really cheap. I love them so much. you can see them in a recent post I made.

I really like your hair here, the whole look is darling too! I wish the weather would get a little cooler so I could start wearing all my Winter stuff.

wow, blaw blaw blaw, I guess I am in a writing mood today! :)
