As promised, family pictures from Red Barn Farm.
As usual Clover clung to her favorite person for most of the day and even decided she would rather be in Vida's arms for the full family portrait. Since we were going to be on a farm, one of Lucas' sisters had the idea to change into farm clothes and do an American Gothic style family portrait for fun.
Lucas decided to take things in a different direction by bringing along an unopened package of fake teeth that we've had hanging around our house for years, I don't even remember where they came from.
The second family portrait didn't end up happening but we did have some fun with the teeth and there were some pretty funny and very toothy outtakes on the CD of photos I received, so I thought I'd share a few of those too:
For most of us the "Gnarly Teeth" (that's what the box called them), were less than flattering...
... and on some even scarily real looking, my brother-in-law Tim won the award in this category!
Though, I must say, Clover does have some cousins whose extreme levels of cute can't even be overshadowed by big creepy teeth.

what an awesome and fun idea! you guys look so funny (and scary)!
you're right, the little girls ARE too cute to be outshined by crazy fake teeth though :)
thanks for sharing!
I think Charlie and i got that same tooth set for halloween 2 years ago. My favorite were the "goalie" ones.
The little girls are all so darling, and the bigger ones too, obviously;D
i need some of those!
You should definitely make that your profile pic next Halloween!
fun photos!
hehe, the teeth look great - very convincing. They need to be more yellowed though!
You guys look so sweet in your family portrait :)
Too funny! The family with "The Teeth".
Such a picture-perfect family! Even with the teeth. Or perhaps especially with the teeth? :D
HAH! I laughed out loud at these. Especially the earnest kiddie trio in the last shot.
Aw, lovely family, i especially love the ones with the false teeth :)
these made me giggle. your family is very attractive and seem like a lot of fun, too.
The area looks so beautiful!
I think Tim's hat - in combo with the teeth - put him over the edge to win that one :)
What a lovely family!
