Bounty

Our bean teepee one month ago. I'm lucky to have a husband who does cool things like plant bean teepees in the backyard :)

Fast forward to today... harvest time! I picked four large colanders full :)

Awesome! My parents tried growing a garden but it was so DRY this year that things barely grew. Looks like all is lush and green at your end!

that's so awesome, Missa! I had my guy make us a burlap teepee to hid away in, but the bean version is way too cool! And what a fun & healthy end result.

That bean teepee is so cute! I used to love picking fresh peas in pod's when I stayed with my grandparents in the country as a kid. I want to move back to the country, ha ha!

Oh my gosh. What can I say except: I'm moving to California, I had to plant my beans, count 'em, THREE times this year and they're a bunch of scraggly little blossoms right now. My tomatoes are green , my squash are non-existant and my garlic has divided to about 4 cloves so far. Woe is me. Thank goodness for Lucas' vicarious green thumb. Hold on to that one sistah, he's a keeper ;)
