Sharing my weekly faves from the Nifty Thrift flickr group where people post pics of their nifty thrifty finds. In other words a weekly spot for me to publicly covet the finds of others :)

Oooh....the garden fabrics are nice! I am sooo lazy right now when it comes to sewing...I still have a pile of stuff I need to alter and a bunch of diy projects that I want to work on..

Aww thank you so much for your comment on my lips! That made me feel so good because I actually thought they looked ugly and wanted to crop them out of the picture.
Sometimes it's the most random comments that make my day!! ^_^

I've been on the look out for a vintage sewing box recently as my current on is falling apart. I have visions of filling it with lovely stuff like this!

sewing machines have been sooo intimidating lately. why is that? could it be little ones that like to steal spools of thread and such things.....and yes it is a good thing we dont share the same size foot cause we definately share the same taste in boots. :))

Very Cool! I've actually decided I'd like to take up sewing. I've even bought a couple of vintage skirt and dress patterns, but I'm thinking they may be a bit ambitious for a beginner. Perhaps I'd better start small.

That sewing machine is truly amazing!! Also the collection of thread and such are a useful find, I do like saving money on the basics.
