Sharing my weekly faves from the Nifty Thrift flickr group where people post pics of their nifty thrifty finds.
I’ve mentioned before how Milla and I enjoy sending one another packages of thrifted goodies. Well, since I can’t send her anymore stuff until she makes her much anticipated move to the States, I’m dedicating this week’s picks to her instead. If I were shopping for Milla in the Nifty Thrift pool this week, these are the items I would choose to send (and as always, want to keep for myself :)
These German fairytale postcards are too cool. Adorable illustrations AND they remind me so much of the cover art on The Monsters of Templeton, a most wonderful book introduced to me by Milla over the Summer.
For the girl who dreams of Alaska, what better thrifty gift than a vintage Alaskan Tea towel? By the way, I would grab this one too and have to try reaaaally hard not to keep it for myself ;)
Last but not least, this oh so cute, vintage mug for her beloved tea :) Hope your preparations for the big move are going smoothly Milla!

The Scandiniavian tea towel makes my heart quake! Oh those amazing Nordic people-- impeccable design sense and a heightened appreciation for Cute, what a fatal combination!
That mug is the most precious thing i have seen in forever.
You always have such beautiful finds, you are a thrift goddess!
have a dreamy week-end sweetie!

actually, i think the teatowel is finnish, maybe danish; i have a set of napkins by the same designer.
