A morning walk in the woods...

leaves and lace

deer friend

happy trails

... with my sister Val (she took the two outfit photos :) and our little ones, at Annadel State Park. It's such a beautiful walk, especially on these gray foggy mornings we've been having. I hope our plan to start doing it more regularly works out.

Remember
this lacy tunic? I've worn it many many times since bringing it home from the Goodwill months ago, but this was my first time documenting it :)

Beautiful scenery! I might have to have a Sunday afternoon woods walk soon, except we tend to call it the bush or forest rather than woods here, which doesn't sound quite so picturesque as the woods :)

and of course, your outfit is effortless :)

I just wanted to tell you that we're thinking of moving to Petaluma or Santa Rosa. I've always wanted to live on the West Coast, I'm tired of New York City, and I'm not really a Floridian at heart. I just realized that you lived out in that neck of the woods.

Now I'm going to pour over your blog for local color.

Oh how I miss the Northern Californian woods. I grew up in Tiburon, then came back to SF for college, but now moving to England. My sister lives in Santa Rosa, so your blog is so special to me. Not only do you have amazing taste in clothes but you bring the wonderful Northern California beauty to life.

Wonderful post!
